We believe great hair starts with listening — to your story, your identity, your goals.

At Headprint Studio, individuality isn’t just accepted — it’s celebrated.

We’re more than a salon. We’re a collective of creative stylists passionate about crafting hair that feels like you — bold, effortless, unmistakably yours.

We foster an inclusive, vibrant space for all hair types and all identities.
Rooted in the queer community and powered by self-expression, we’re redefining what hair care means in San Francisco.

Come for the style. Stay for the connection.
Embrace the art of being unapologetically you.

Stylists That Get You and Your Hair

We don’t do cookie-cutter haircuts or mystery pricing. At Headprint Studio, our artists charge by the hour — based on the time, talent, and care your hair deserves.

No hidden fees. No sticker shock.

Every service is tailored to your goals, your budget, and your unique style. Whether you're looking for a soft grow-out balayage or a sharp fade with flair — our stylists have the range and the vibe.

Building the Kind of Salon We Wished Existed.

After two decades in the industry, from corporate salons to solo suites — Teddy Benjamin launched Headprint in 2019 to create the kind of space that didn’t exist yet: creative, communal, and unapologetically queer.

What started as a 5-chair salon in Cow Hollow has grown into two San Francisco locations (hi, Castro!) and a second-floor event space we call Headprint House — home to artist markets, drag makeup classes, sound baths, and whatever else we feel like curating.

Real connection. Great hair.

And a space where the stories are just as important as the styles — where we’re basically your second-hand therapists, ready to hear all the tea about Aunt Karen’s fourth marriage.
